If you have older printers and other externals, stay with 32 bit Win 7. There's not much advantage in installing 64 bit unless you have more than 4 GB of memory.

Thank you for the replies. I guess of asked what is the advantage of 32 bit and 64 bit. The 64 bit versions can use much more. Mainly I got 8GB so I can put off upgraging for a while. A long while I hope! It may help another user. The memory is the biggest issue when deciding on 64 or 32 bit OS. Most applications software is still 32 bit so again if you don't have or will not install more than 4GB of RAM stay with the 32 bit version.
